Lifegear Elliptical
Just when you think there was no way anyone would manufacture and sell an elliptical trainer under $200, along comes Lifegear to try and capture the ultra budget market.
I understand what Lifegear is trying to do here by offering a low end machine that will appeal to Walmart shoppers who think that, because it’s cheap and has a couple of neat features that it’s a good deal.
The problem I have with budget ellipticals like the Lifegear is that they aren’t built to last. If you’re OK with buying a disposable elliptical trainer that will be in your garbage can in 6 months to a year, then by all means buy one of these trainers.
When you try to slash the price this low, then add useful features like a good display console, you can take performance and durability and throw them out the window.
Low price and durability are two words that don’t belong together in the same sentence. I don’t care what the manufacturer woudl like you to believe…
