j/fit Under Desk & Stand Up Mini Elliptical Detailed Review

Value for money

For small apartments, you cannot find a better trainer than a miniature copy of a full-fledged gym stepper that can literally fit under your desk. Such a device may look like it’s just a base with pedals, but it can do magic to your body! Set the tension, place the best elliptical machine anywhere you want, and start getting healthy. This trainer is lightweight and, most importantly, very mobile. The stepper can be placed in any room and practiced without disturbing other family members. The stepper weighs only about 20 lbs but can withstand a user weight up to 220 lbs.

You can practice and make your body stronger in any room you want, thanks to its versatile design. This elliptical equipment not only simulates stair walking but also can be used for ‘skiing’ exercises involving the work of the torso and arms, but it requires some more fitness stuff. The 2-in-1 model is designed specifically for home use, and you will see it as soon as you take a quick look at its stylish yet humble design.

As some of my clients said, this trainer is very stable and covered with two layers of paint, and the pedals are equipped with an anti-slip coating. The in-built monitor records the time of the workout, the number of calories burned, the steps taken, and the distance covered. Mini steppers are equipped with a fairly simple mechanism, so they are usually able to withstand a user with a bodyweight of up to 200-230 lbs. If you need a higher limit, you should pay attention to more professional models.

Range of motion

Doing workouts on the elliptical cross trainer is quite simple. You can use it in standing or sitting positions. However, you should beware of some insignificant injuries. One of the most common problems is knee sprain. It occurs if you immediately start with very high tension or place your feet incorrectly on the platform. Therefore, you cannot start your classes without a warm-up.

Noise level

Noise is a problem that sometimes can ruin the whole experience of using even the top elliptical machines. Unfortunately, this j/fit under-desk elliptical emits some squeaky sounds that can irritate you and your whole household. Well, it doesn’t mean that you have to refuse to purchase it. You can simply turn on some music to make your workout more intensive and cool.

Pros and Cons to Consider

For better visualization, here is a brief list of the advantages and disadvantages of the model under review. Straightforwardness in operation and compactness in use have made it one of the options many acquaintances of mine have chosen for their home training.
