Sunny Health & Fitness is a well-known manufacturer of sporting equipment, including визуальноtrainers. This machine is quite a compact, rear-designed electromagnetic X-trainer, meant for indoor use in jammed rooms. Its high-quality build and customizable levels make it one of the best in its class. The model has some electronic components but, powered with a couple of AA batteries, it doesn’t need a socket near.
You must acknowledge, though, that because of stride and weight limitations, it’s meant first of all for kids, teenagers, and the smallest of adults. If your height is above 5’3”, you may feel discomfort on it. If you’re higher than 5’5”, discomfort is granted. It’s not a total dealbreaker, though: many users consider it a part of their workouts, providing some extra sweat drops and heartbeats.
It’s quite an affordable training machine for home, well under $200 (don’t even compare with professional ones priced for heart attack). However, it has features like a pulse monitor, electronic microcontroller, and high adjustability.
It’s as slender as its potential users, with its display just in front of you as you’re working out. The pulse sensors are built into the handles. There is a special mechanical switch to adjust the tension level.
Space limitations are hard to overcome. So it offers only an 11-inch stride, limiting the range hardly. The moves you make may be far from your natural stride unless you are quite short. Given that the maximum user weight is just 220 lbs, though, it looks quite logical.
Many users complain of the clicking sound it may produce after some usage period. Fixing a wave washer must help that. Generic methods, like putting a carpet under it, also help. Well, if you, say, put it in front of your TV and make it loud enough, you will hear the TV sound perfectly well, and the trainer’s noise will not matter.
